The above content is absolutely correct, employees should never been seen and treated as a collective, we all have our individuals strengths and along with that various mechanisms of coping with pressure and conflict, its important for leaders to understand each individual and what fuels or motivates them.
Collaboration and inclusive discussions especially when it impacts an individuals workload should always be held, that way the individual feels that they have some sort of control over the situation and is also in a better position to manage expectations.
