Tom Burbage, author and former Executive Vice President at Lockheed Martin, was the general manager for the F-35 program from 2000 to 2013. His outstanding leadership during this time won him multiple accolades, including the prestigious U.S. Naval Academy/Harvard Business Review Award for Ethical Leadership.
Earlier in his career, Tom served as a Naval Aviator, racking up over 3,000 hours in 38 different types of military aircraft. In 1994, he retired from the Navy with the rank of Captain.
